Mocha Expressions
Is an African American Women's Book Club organized to learn and experience the world of African American Literature in a fun, exciting, and enlightening atmosphere among our peers.
Our goal is to collectively gain knowledge of the African American experience, collaborate through literary dialogue, build sincere and loving relationships and serve the African American community by promoting literacy and sisterhood.
What Do We Do
We discuss books written for us, by us, and about us in hopes to build our minds, bodies, and spirits; and enlighten our souls.
We meet every 3rd Saturday of the month at a location designated by the selected Host. We review BookTalk Topics based on the featured book in the genre of African American literature.
Read with M.E. and you will never
read this way again!
There is so much more to ME...
